I have had a loan with Santander since 2010. I bought a 2009 Ford Mustang for approximately 16,000.

Here it is 2017 and I am still paying on the car. Not only has Santander imposed unfair loan terms, they have not been willing to turn over the pink slip. A few years ago, i was pulled over and car impounded for suspended license. Everyday I communicated to Santander that once the 30 days hold was over, I would get the car out.

This auctioning of the car to incur additional cost and hassle. The car should have never been auctioned off before the 30 day hold. In addition, Santander reported to the credit bureau that the car was repossessed and this was not accurate reporting.

I was able to get the car but my credit report was not updated. Please contact me to review the details of my loan and help me determine if I have just cause to pursue a lawsuit.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: Loan pay off.

Santander Consumer Usa Cons: Mis application of principle vs interest, How no one can give detailed information about fees, Dishonest and cant reach my supposedly assigned account manager.

Hello : Forget the phony loud-mouth in the box

below.

IF you feel you have been legally

mishandled, you ways to handle it, without the expense of a lawyer. One : Go to the following site. consumerfinance.gov, then, submit a written complaint, or, use the telephone number. The CFPB was the result of a Senate Bill, by Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Use it. Two : Go to : FTC.GOV This is the Federal Trade Commission. They LOVE this kind of complaint. Three : Goo to www.ripoffreport.com Personally, I would use ALL three.

Remember, however : CFPB.GOV is a real, government site. Thanks !!!

Typical wailing deadbeat! For the car to have been auctioned, a REPO had to be done.

That REPO was because YOU failed to make YOUR payments as YOU agreed to do when YOU signed the contract. If the loan terms did not agree with you then YOU shouldn't have signed the contract! If you wanted a lower APR, then YOU shouldn't have developed a poor credit reputation! All your wailing and whining is 100% because of the consequences YOU caused by YOU not paying YOUR bills on time!

Of course, in typical sorry deadbeat fashion you have tons of excuses and it's all their fault, isn't it? Oh by the way, don't bother claiming I must work for them because I don't!

If you can't say anything nice don't! Santander is not a good company! Thousands of people are having and have had problems with them too!

When you make your payments on time, you never hear from them. The ONLY people who complain are those who don't pay and come here to cry and whine about the consequences they brought on themselves!

They are a business, not financial advisors. They lend to people who have a history of not paying on time and many of those don't pay them either, continuing as serial deadbeats. Payments are due as stated on the contract these deadbeats signed and agreed to. No lender is under ANY obligation.

to "help" anyone. Payments are due as per contract.

Paying on time is NOT optional with any lender. No, I don't work for them.
